COP17: Robots, UAVs and Resources on Inclusive Education on Display at the Ministry’s Pavilion
October 24, 2026
Today, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports’ pavilion in the COP17 Green Zone is dedicated to education.
Students from the Anton Kochinyan Agricultural College of the Armenian National Agrarian University presented ‘Green Initiatives by Future Agrarians’, showcasing robots and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed to perform a range of agricultural tasks. Among the exhibits was a greenhouse-harvesting robot designed and built by the College’s students.
They also demonstrated UAVs used for pesticide spraying, surveillance, surveying and other geodetic operations. Visitors had the opportunity to see the ‘Agric’ robot, designed to perform veterinary surgical procedures. Demonstration classes also showcased the installation and operation of drip irrigation systems using robotic equipment.
At the same time, the Ministry’s pavilion featured resources dedicated to inclusive education under the theme ‘Inclusion for Biodiversity’. The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Centre presented educational materials and assistive technologies designed to promote inclusion and ensure accessible learning environments, along with workbooks and methodological guides developed by its specialists. The ‘Teach for Armenia’ initiative presented its publication ‘Climate Challenges in My Community’.
The overarching message was clear: protecting nature begins with education, and education must be accessible to every child.
