Europe Day: festive concert held at Alaverdi House of Culture

A festive concert was held at Alaverdi House of Culture as part of the “Europe Day” celebrations. The event also featured an exhibition showcasing creative works by students of the cultural centre.
Among those in attendance were RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.
ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan welcomed the attendees and congratulated on the occasion of “Europe Day”, highlighting the significance of celebrating the event not only in Yerevan but also in communities and regions across Armenia. She thanked the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia for jointly organizing “Europe Day” celebrations in a diverse and engaging way.
“The partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union stands at a high level. Our cooperation has already acquired a strategic significance, and the recent summit once again reaffirmed this important reality while demonstrating the significant potential for further expanding our cooperation,” the Minister said, stressing that the foundation of this partnership lies in people-to-people connections fostered through education, culture and communication.
She also underscored the importance of expanding the bilateral ties and making them more substantive, thereby strengthening mutual trust and advancing shared objectives.
