Ahead of the 10th Francophonie Games, to be held in Armenia in 2027, the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the “Le Courrier d'Erevan” signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The memorandum was signed by ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan and Zara Nazaryan, Director of the “FrancoMedia” NGO.

The cooperation aims to strengthen French-language media coverage in the following areas:

Promoting coverage of cultural and educational ties, as well as international cooperation, between Armenia and Francophone countries;

Providing comprehensive coverage of the 2027 Francophonie Games in Armenia, including preparatory activities;

Introduction of Armenia's strategic policies in the fields of culture and education, and implementation of joint initiatives.

Through the www.courrier.am platform, “FrancoMedia” will provide extensive French-language coverage of the Ministry's cultural and educational programs, as well as Francophonie-related events and the Francophonie Games, engaging young journalists and contributing to the advancement of French-language journalism in Armenia.

The partnership will introduce innovative technological and methodological solutions, transforming www.courrier.am into a leading resource for cultural and educational content through the production and dissemination of new video and audio materials.

The use of advanced technologies is expected to enhance the platform's visibility and accessibility, foster dialogue between Armenia and Francophone countries, and further promote the international visibility of Armenia and its cultural heritage.
