As part of her visit to the Republic of Armenia, Her Majesty Queen Sofía of Spain, accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, visited the Garni Pagan Temple and the Symphony of Stones Natural Monument.

Queen Sofía toured the grounds of the Garni Temple, where she learned about the history and significance of this exceptional monument of Armenia’s Hellenistic-era architecture. Her Majesty also visited the Symphony of Stones Natural Monument, which is included in Armenia’s list of specially protected areas of nature.

It should be noted that Queen Sofía’s visit to Armenia will continue until October 29. Her Majesty is scheduled to attend the award ceremony of the Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development, as well as events aimed at strengthening the friendly ties between Armenia and Spain.
